Vegetables from the garden

Overall my vegetable garden was average this year. However, I really got a bumper crop of squash. I didn’t plant them but they came up and just took over a lot of real estate. They seemed to be a hybrid winter squash of butternut and delicata. I’m enjoying painting all of the variations and patterns.

Sasha in the dog days of summer

Our dog Sasha has always been very easy-going and chill.  She loves to follow me around the house and hang out, waiting for something interesting to happen.  Here are a few recent sketches of Sasha.

Paper illustration

I started this in Savannah and completed it at home.  I like the creative possibilities of this paper technique.  it works well with watercolor, pastel and other paper media.
